Indacon Ltd are on the look out for industrial electricians and electrical engineers within the Greater Manchester area.

Due to continued growth and demand during 2021 Indacon Ltd are in need of qualified, experienced and skilled industrial electricians and electrical engineers.

The opportunity has arisen to join a growing electrical engineering firm on a self employed (Sub-contractor) basis with the potential to become a permanent member of our engineering team.

What you will bring

Technical and Industry Experience

Excellent technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Indacon Ltd and our clients.

Excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of electrical engineering and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.

Excellent knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications.

Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and electrical engineering specific software.

Extensive technical and practical experience in electrical engineering in Process, manufacturing and distribution industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.

Qualifications and relevant trade training

An ECS/JIB Health & Safety Card

IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition

CCNSG Safety Passport

IPAF

Compex Ex01 - Ex04 (advantageous)

City & Guilds 2391 - inspection & testing (advantageous)

Desired skills and knowledge but not essential – AutoCAD / Eplan / TIA Portal / Allen Bradley / Siemens S7 / VFD / HMI / PLC / Control Panel / Machinery / Automation / Electrical Engineer / Controls Engineer
